If you are interested in a riding with a patrol or animal control officer, first complete the Ride Along Waiver and deliver it to the Sierra Vista Police Department (911 N. Coronado Drive).

You must be at least 14 years of age.

Please allow a minimum of one week to process your waiver. After a week's time has passed, you may call SVPD or Animal Control to schedule a ride-along.

Patrol Officer ride-alongs are offered during these shifts:

• Day shift: 0700-1700
• Swing shift: 1400-2400
• Mid shift: 2100-0700

An Animal Control Officer will contact you to schedule the Animal Control ride-along.

Please allow a minimum of 48 hours to process your Ride-Along request.

Before your Ride-Along, please go to the Police Department lobby and check in at the reception desk for your scheduled Ride-Along. If your Ride-Along is scheduled outside of normal business hours and the reception desk is not open, please pick up the phone on the front counter to reach a dispatcher for assistance.
