Teen Talks
The Sierra Vista Police Department invites middle and high school students and their parents to attend a free 2-hour educational presentation and discussion forum about drug awareness. The program will be held on Oct. 18, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. in the Sierra Vista Police Department Auditorium, 911 N. Coronado Drive.
Called Teen Talks: Drug Awareness. Attendees will learn about the physical and legal repercussions of drug use, how to recognize and report potential drug use, and where to get help for drug abuse and addiction.
SVPD School Resource Officer and Community Response Team members will provide real life experiences and provide first-hand information about the dangerous drug trends affecting today’s youth in our community. Some of the topics presented along with an open discussion will include fentanyl, THC, vapes, and prescription and synthetic drugs. Parents are encouraged to attend with their teens.
Light refreshments will be provided and there is no cost to attend. Register using the form below. Registration is required and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
