PulsePoint Respond App
PulsePoint Respond is now online in Sierra Vista and throughout the Fry Fire District’s service area.
Available to download for free, the PulsePoint Respond is a smartphone app that enables everyday citizens to provide potentially life-saving aid to victims of sudden cardiac arrest before first responders arrive on scene. App users who have indicated they are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and willing to assist in case of an emergency will receive a notification if someone nearby is experiencing a cardiac arrest. If the cardiac arrest occurred in a public place, the app will alert nearby users as the dispatch for emergency medical personnel goes out. PulsePoint Respond also directs users to the location of the closest Automated External Defibrillator.
PulsePoint AED App
When a cardiac emergency strikes, finding an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can help save a life. But that takes knowing where AEDs are located.
With PulsePoint AED you can help strengthen the chain of survival for cardiac arrest victims. Download PulsePoint AED for free and use it to report AEDs in the Sierra Vista area. Describe the location, snap a picture, and the information is stored for local authorities to verify. After that, the AED location data is made available to anyone using PulsePoint Respond app. Too see the local AED locations already verified, check out this interactive AED location map.
