Sierra Vista Fire and Medical Services utilizes the Knox Box system for emergency entry into commercial buildings. This system reduces possible forced entry damage  for businesses and allows for rapid entry for Firefighters and Emergency Medical First Responders. 

All new business owners are responsible for providing a key or set of keys to the Office of the Fire Marshal for placement into an existing Knox box if already provided on site. If the business is a newly constructed building or if the building does not currently have a Knox Box, the new business owner is responsible for purchasing a Knox Box. The Fire Marshal's office will help with correct placement of the new box and will place the keys in the box after it has been installed.
