Sierra Vista’s ten-year General Plan, called Vista 2030, identified the citizen’s desire for a walkable city center, rich with entertainment, arts, and dining opportunities. To move Sierra Vista closer to this goal, the City is focusing on redeveloping its historic West End located just outside of Fort Huachuca's historic Buffalo Soldier Gate. The second phase of a streetscape revitalization effort is also underway, which will hopefully continue to attract new businesses to this area of town. 

The West End is currently home to several restaurants, specialty grocery stores, small-chain and local retail, a locally owned ice cream shop, hotels, as well dental, vision, and urgent care providers and government contract companies. The West End also offers modern and charming office space to suite your needs. Sierra Vista's west end is also an infill incentive and designated entertainment district offering matching grant funds for qualified businesses.

Sierra Vista has recently welcomed many new businesses to our entertainment scene, including a country western bar/restaurant, local tavern, and tap house offering the best in live entertainment and full events calendars. Sierra Vista businesses also boast activities like axe throwing and pottery lessons, and is looking forward to welcoming its very own local brewery and restaurant.
