Every 10 years local residents are given an opportunity to shape the overarching plan that will guide Sierra Vista’s future growth and development. We appreciate everyone who made comments to help shape the Vista 2040 General Plan over the last year.

Please review the final Vista 2040 General Plan, which was approved by the City Council on June 27. Sierra Vista residents will vote on its adoption in the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.

For a detailed summary of the plan, review the presentation shared at public hearings before the Planning & Zoning Commission. And for even more information, check out the Sierra Vista voter pamphlet information on the ballot question that will be mailed to local voters.
