A section of Coronado Drive will be closed starting tomorrow for utility repairs.

On Wednesday, July 31, beginning around 6 a.m., construction crews will close Coronado Drive directly west of Moorman Avenue to begin repairs to a major water line. Part of the intersection of Coronado Drive, Moorman Avenue, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway will be closed as well to restrict traffic from entering the closed area. This includes the right turn lane on southbound Coronado Drive, left lane of eastbound Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, and the left turn lane of northbound Moorman Avenue.

The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately three days depending on the weather.
