Visually, the Bisbee of today remains a community frozen in time, with Main Street retaining its character from 1910. The discovery of copper deposits in the Mule Mountains brought forth a wealth that enabled a substantial community. With people visiting the prosperous mining camp, local postcards soon found their way into stores and the hands of individuals. The cards not only enabled one to communicate using the written word, but the images on the front also sent an important message!
