The City of Sierra Vista, working closely with the Arts & Humanities and Cultural Diversity Commissions, will be hosting an evening cemetery tour with a twist this fall. Participants will walk among the graves and interact with actors posed as historical figures buried in the cemetery. They’ll hear the diverse stories of pioneers, soldiers, and from Yaqui descendants from nearby Mexico as docents guide participants from grave to grave.
Tours last approximately 20-30 minutes with the last guided tour at 8:30 p.m. Please bring warm clothing, comfortable shoes, and a flashlight. Hot apple cider will be provided by the Arts & Humanities and Cultural Diversity.
